Position Profile
The Recruiting Sourcer and Internet Researcher will be responsible for supporting the Consumer Packaged Goods practice through research, client (hiring company) and candidate (job seekers) interaction, technology and internal communication. This individual will take an active and integral role in the search and recruitment process. The ideal candidate will have the capability to independently execute strong internet sourcing strategies and communicate their findings to the team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct internet research using a variety of resources; including: data sourcing tools, company websites, job boards, Google, Facebook, LinkedIn, referrals, Boolean methodologies, networking and other social media in order to:
- Identify potential clients and hiring authorities within a specific marketplace
- Uncover industry trends, company details and other valuable industry news and information
- Obtain and update all current client resource information and any possible open job leads
- Research trade shows and capture the companies and people in attendance
- Compile general information such as company lists, association memberships, certification lists and other non-recruiting information
- Review group discussions or specific websites for any “new openings” discussions
- Identify, target and recruit passive job seekers
- Research new areas of candidate sources and new sites to post open job listings
- Explore beneficial sites and maintain a list of helpful resources and their hyperlinks which will enhance office productivity
- Compose, organize and send emails to potential candidates informing them of available job opportunities
- Respond to candidate inquires
- Accurately input, organize and maintain candidate information in our database
- Manage online job listings and ads
- Present research results to Account Manager on a weekly basis.
- Send emails to hiring managers in targeted companies to promote services and possible impact player candidates
- Responsible for technical aspects of the business; including: database management, recommending/evaluating research tools and social media/website and train office staff on the use of these tools
- Create marketing and recruiting call lists
- Perform cold calls to recruit and qualify (interview) candidates as needed
- Assist and coordinate with the Office Manager on updates to company website and social media content
Qualifications
- 4 year Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Teachable, driven, open to learning the recruiting industry and growing with our company
- Proven knowledge of a variety of sourcing strategies and tools including: Internet research, passive sourcing, Boolean methodology and social media
- Ability to multitask with solid time management skills, set daily & weekly goals and priorities, and schedule daily events
- Outgoing, energetic, people oriented personalities that appreciate client-facing work
- Strong PC skills, excellent knowledge of Windows Operating System
- Ability to take direction, work in both individual and team environments and across functional teams
- Excellent interpersonal and communication, both verbal and written
- Strong organizational and administrative skills
- Able to challenge priorities daily to produce maximum results
- Must be willing to take initiative in regards to team activities
